Contractor Membership is for any business engaged in electrical contracting (installation, repairs, or maintenance). Industry Partner Membership is for manufacturers, distributors, or professional service firms (like insurance or legal) selling to contractors.

How does the IEC help member contractors with hiring and staffing?

Members get exclusive access to a centralized apprentice application pool, recruitment/referral programs, pre-employment screenings, and shared manpower agreements to balance fluctuating project demands.

Are IEC training programs approved for state licensing and CEUs?

Yes. The 4-year apprenticeship and specialized courses (like OSHA 10/30) are approved for licensing and continuing education by the OCILB (Ohio), Ohio Board of Building Standards, and Kentucky Housing, Buildings & Construction.
